The department is equipped with a tele-medicine facility which enables imaging specailists to view and report on emergency CT scans from their homes. The department is staffed with full time radiologists whose technical and interpretational skills are greatly valued by their peers.

The department provides 24 hour services. Fully automated and manned by well-trained lab technologists, under the supervision of experienced pathologists, the laboratory provides the full range of investigations in hematology, biochemistry, serology and microbiology. The histopathology section, equipped for processing frozen sections, provides invaluable support to the oncology department by spot diagnosis of suspicious tissue samples. The laboratory has long established external quality control programs for precision and reliability of reporting and has enjoyed consistently high ratings in these. The department subjects itself to stringent internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with the highest international standards.
