Community Health Awareness and Action promoted by Young Adults (CHAAYA) in Saurashtra
Maternal and child Health: AKHSI implemented the project in rural Vadodara (Gujarat) in 2015-16. The key interventions included building capacities of frontline workers, behavior change communication through IPC with pregnant women and children. The project was implemented with support from CSR of Crompton Graves.
The study is to improve the maternal and child health status, access to quality health services through promotion of preventive and promotive positive health behaviors in un-served and underserved areas of Kodinar block, Junagadh district in three years.
